This is a week of change and progress.
If you have a birthday between 13th - 24th May or around the 4th of June, expect some endings and beginnings wherever your Sun is in your Birth Chart.
Venus turns retrograde 15 May
Why is this so significant? The Goddess retrogrades every 18 months for a period of 40 days. However, this year on 5th June she eclipses the Sun. These historic eclipses occur 100 years apart in pairs 8 years apart. We experienced the first of this pair in June 2004.
Venus' stationary dates when she first stops to turn backwards and 40 days later stops to move forward, always have an emotional effect They are times which make everyone extra sensitive and when relationships end. It's best to take extra care for 2 days either side of the station, be kind and thoughtful about other people's feelings. If things do blow up, wait until the end of the retrograde before doing anything final.
So put the dates between 13th - 17th May in your diary or calendar. If you think back to May/June 2004, what was happening for you then? Whatever it was, expect a follow through between 15 May and 23rd June particularly on the 5th June on the eclipse day.
Venus is in Gemini at this eclipse so wherever you have 12-17 degrees of the Twins in your Birth Chart will show you how it could impact you. Use this information to take the higher road this time round.

Scientific tests show that during an eclipse electromagnetic fields increase in magnitude. This eclipse will be unusually potent as it connects with the significant Fixed Star Alcyone, the central star of the Pleiades, in the constellation of Taurus. The Sun and the Moon at 0 degrees Gemini will exactly conjunct Alcyone. From early times, the Pleiades have been recognised as one of the most revered cosmic objects by the Chinese, the Greeks, the Egyptians, the Mayans and the indigenous North Americans. The degrees between 29° Taurus - 2° Gemini indicate great change, transformation and shifts.
